We are at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Reality Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating cutting edge teleoperation setups for our androids. We are looking for individuals with hands-on experience, and a proactive "get-things-done" attitude, who excel in both long-term strategic planning and day-to-day execution of practical tasks.

- Spearhead the design, development, and refinement of immersive VR teleoperation interfaces.
- Collaborate with robot operators to gather feedback, ensuring the VR system aligns with operational needs.
- Continually enhance the system's UI/UX, developing intuitive menus, widgets, and interactive components tailored for immersive VR.
- Proactively identify and address challenges in VR teleoperation.
Job requirements
Must-Haves:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cohesively with diverse teams and a “can-do” attitude
- Extensive background in game development, including complex VR applications, leveraging Unity, OpenXR or similar systems, and integrating native plugins
- Demonstrated experience crafting visually appealing and intuitive UIs within VR applications
- Deep understanding of scale, immersion, motion sickness, and hand-eye coordination; with a strong commitment to user-centric design
Nice-To-Haves:
Proficiency in CI, unit, and structural software testing, as well as online and hardware-in-the-loop troubleshooting and debugging
Extensive expertise in C/C++/Python, with knowledge of computer graphics and core game engine principles
Solid grasp and hands-on experience with robot kinematics and teleoperation, frame transformations, and motor controls
Practical understanding and experience with network architectures and protocols
Experience conducting user tests, gathering data, and performing analysis to inform design and feature decisions
