The Supply Management Associate is responsible for strategizing and coordinating actions between various departments and suppliers to ensure smooth production processes and quality assurance. This role involves creating detailed responses to incidents that impact production and quality, tracking issues from identification to resolution, and ensuring timely closure of issues to minimize production disruptions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, production, logistics, quality control) and suppliers to resolve any issues impacting production and product quality.
Develop and implement strategies to address and prevent supply chain disruptions and quality concerns.
Document all actions taken to address incidents, with concise summary.
Track and monitor issues to ensure prompt resolution and closure, ensuring minimal disruption to production timelines.
Act as a liaison between departments and suppliers to ensure clear communication and alignment on priorities.
Provide regular updates on incident statuses, resolutions, and any potential risks to key stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate supply chain performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize issues.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required by management.
Job requirements
3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or production management.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including supplier relationships and quality control processes.
Working knowledge of manufacturing process related to electronic PCBAs and mechanical parts

Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across teams and with external suppliers.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex incidents.
Ability to document processes, track issues, and ensure timely follow-up.
Proficiency with supply chain management software ERP MRP PLM and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
Proven experience in supply chain coordination, production management, or similar roles.
Experience in incident management, quality assurance, or process improvement is preferred.
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional visits to suppliers or production sites.

Our facility is designed to be state-of-the-art, with a variety of 3D printers, an electronics lab, and controls test studio. 1XHQ offers food, showers, and outdoor activities.
