Why this job is exciting!

  • Own and develop end-to-end testing solutions for the Neo humanoid assembly line

  • Collaborate across firmware, hardware, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust testing infrastructure

  • In time, your test software will support high-volume production of intelligent humanoids

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing test coverage for the Neo assembly line

  • Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to define test coverage, metrics, and APIs

  • Design and develop manufacturing test software for connectivity, functionality, and system-level self-tests

  • Debug and root-cause issues related to manufacturing testing

  • Build scalable, reliable test software for high-volume production, leveraging cloud tools to reduce downtime and cost

  • Log, store, and analyze test data to inform design improvements

  • Drive Design-for-Test (DFT) requirements through early engagement with cross-functional teams

  • Work with internal and external partners on tester design and validation

Job requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing testing of actuators, sensors, electronics, or related electromechanical hardware

  • Proficiency with test frameworks such as OpenHTF, pytest, or Robot Framework

  • Fluency in Golang, Python, and JavaScript

  • Familiarity with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS)

  • Experience working with Linux OS and Docker

  • Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN and EtherCAT

  • Experience with SQL (e.g., MySQL, Microsoft SQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch), and column-store databases (e.g., ClickHouse)

  • Understanding of query optimization and data analysis

  • Familiarity with data pipeline and visualization tools such as Telegraf, Kafka, and Grafana
