We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst ideally with a CPA and strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and financial automation. You’ll be responsible for building robust financial and accounting models from the ground up, driving insights that inform strategic decision-making, and partnering cross-functionally across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Build, maintain, and optimize financial models, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Design and implement accounting models to improve visibility into financial performance.
Leverage SQL and Python to automate reporting, streamline processes, and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business teams to understand key drivers and provide actionable insights.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and executive dashboards.
Ensure data integrity and reconcile financial data across systems.
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and tools; lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
Partner with senior leaders on ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
6+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
Background in manufacturing (OEM), supply chain, and engineering a plus.
GAAP accounting mastery needed to create models supporting consolidated financials.
Driver and automation of reporting, analytics, dashboard and ROI analysis.
Strong technical skills with SQL and Python (experience in financial automation is a major plus).
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; able to build from scratch.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Dataiku, Tableau, Power BI).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Exceptional attention to detail and a rigorous analytical mindset.
Outgoing, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
Able to build critical relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment of hyper growth.
Extremely detail oriented with proven ability to multi- task in ambiguous situations.
Go getter with ability to drive into details, variance analysis and high level strategic recommendations.
Able to present to C-level executives and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
Exposure to scripting or automation tools beyond Python (e.g., VBA, RPA, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Location Policy
This role is expected to be onsite 5 days per week in Palo Alto.
