Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, AI Tooling, you will build full‑stack applications and internal tools that improve the efficiency of robot training, data collection, and evaluation. These tools will be used by hundreds of robot operators. You’ll work in ambiguous settings, prototype quickly, and deliver solutions that scale across the robotics fleet.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal tooling and applications to support robot training, data collection, and evaluation

• Work closely with operators to understand workflows and build tools that improve efficiency

• Prototype quickly, iterate, and adapt tools in response to changing requirements

• Scale tools and systems to accommodate many users and large volumes of data

• Maintain software quality, performance, and reliability in production systems

• 4+ years of professional experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics, or equivalent

• Strong software engineering skills

• Proficiency with JavaScript / React

• Experience with SQL

• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments

• Fast learner, able to prototype quickly
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Python, especially NumPy and PyTorch

• Experience with label annotation or data warehousing

• Experience in robotics, machine learning, or data analysis

• Experience working with Linux, server infrastructure, or fleet management

• Salary Range: $130,000 – $250,000
