The Role
As a Full-Stack Engineer on the AI Companion team, you will help create the multimodal, voice-driven interface for NEO, our humanoid home robot. You’ll work at the intersection of speech, autonomy, and nonverbal communication to craft seamless user experiences. This role blends architectural design with hands-on development to bring intuitive robot interactions to life.

You Will

• Design the software architecture for real-time multimodal input/output

• Build application flows such as scheduling chores and triggering autonomous tasks via voice

• Optimize the AI Companion stack for smooth, responsive interactions with NEO

• Develop scalable, reliable systems to serve models from remote machines

Must Have

• 4+ years of industry experience with C++, Python, Bazel, and PyTorch

• Experience working with real-time or streaming model architectures or systems

• Strong focus on software quality, performance, and design

• Proven ability to bring research ideas into robust, production-ready systems

• Product sense related to human-robot interaction, non-verbal communication, and speech UX

• Salary Range: $150,000 – $250,000 - Equity
