Target start date: immediately. On-site position.

Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids. At 1X, you’ll own critical roles and have agency to innovate and improve in any and all talent processes and be rewarded based on merit and achievement.


We are looking for recruiters of all levels to help scale our company across engineering (mechanical, electrical), operations, hardware, software, AI, design, manufacturing, supply chain and more. In this role, you’ll run full-cycle recruitment and partner directly with functional leaders to find and attract exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for one or more of the key areas

  • Partner directly with the leaders of each organisation and hiring managers to understand talent needs, craft job descriptions, and calibrate profiles.

  • Proactively source top-tier candidates through outbound outreach, networking, and events.

  • Drive and continuously refine a world-class candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

  • Lead and optimize interview processes and scorecards for consistency and effectiveness.

  • Champion 1X’s employer brand in the hardware communities through events, online presence, and thought leadership.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Operations and HR to improve recruiting tools and systems.

Job requirements

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in high-growth hardware tech or robotics companies (bonus points if they are known for their talent density)

  • Ability to engage thoughtfully with both hiring managers and candidates - desire to learn about how the business works and about your areas technicalities

  • A passion for building talent dense teams

  • High agency, low ego. You operate autonomously, deliver results, and seek to improve everything you touch.

  • Creative mindset - you have the ability to question and rethink Talent processes in order to reach both high calibre candidates and hidden gems.


    Nice to Have

  • Prior experience recruiting world class hardware engineers, who have delivered an end to end consumer product

  • Technical background or education (e.g., CS degree, bootcamp, or hands-on project work).

  • Experience with employer branding or talent marketing in deep tech or manufacturing spaces.

Compensation

At 1X your work and results will be rewarded with a total rewards package consisting of a base salary, stock options and benefits. Base salary range is $132,000 to $186,000. Your actual salary will be based on your knowledge, skills and experience.
