Job requirements

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external prototyping and manufacturing vendors

  • Manage timelines and delivery schedules for outsourced jobs and prototyping services

  • Negotiate quotes and oversee purchase orders for outsourced fabrication and manufacturing

  • Maintain lab organization, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance

  • Define and communicate lab usage policies across cross-functional teams

  • Coordinate with facilities, technicians, and service vendors for equipment maintenance and workspace needs

  • Own inventory management for lab materials, tools, components, and consumables

  • Forecast material and equipment needs in collaboration with R&D teams

  • Source and purchase supplies to ensure consistent project progress

  • Track and reconcile monthly lab expenses in coordination with the Finance team

  • Prepare budget reports and identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, program management, or purchasing

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills

  • Comfortable with hands-on physical work, including equipment setup, assembly, and post-processing

  • Highly organized, with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills

  • Adaptable to fast-paced, constantly evolving work environments

  • Self-starter who demonstrates ownership, resourcefulness, and a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Strong follow-through, communication, and reliability in cross-functional settings
