Job description

Target start date: Immediately. Relocation provided. (Please kindly send your resume in English.)

We are at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for real-world applications. Our mission is to revolutionize manufacturing through safe, intelligent automation. As we transition from R&D to full-scale production, we are seeking an experienced Production Solutions Engineer (Automation Engineer) to join our internal Production Engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing customized automation solutions to streamline both the assembly and production testing of our next-generation bipedal humanoid robots, as well as key components like motors and rope drive systems. Your solutions will aim to enhance the speed, reliability, and consistency of these processes. This position demands expertise in automation design and implementation, including equipment selection, custom component design, PLC programming, and setting up industrial robot-enabled cells (such as FANUC, KUKA, ABB) while ensuring safety compliance. You will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing high-precision manufacturing processes that enable the efficient assembly of cutting-edge robots.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering, with hands-on experience in designing and commissioning automated production systems. Strong skills in PLC programming, robotics integration, and a deep understanding of GD&T and assembly tolerancing are essential. Experience with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) is critical, along with a proactive, problem-solving approach aimed at delivering efficient, high-quality solutions. A collaborative mindset, especially when it comes to working closely with the Hardware design team to develop the right solutions for 1X, is crucial to have.
