    The Role
    As a Product Security Engineer focused on cloud and infrastructure, you will design and maintain secure architectures, build cloud-native security services, and protect CI/CD pipelines. Your work will be essential to ensuring secure communication and data protection across 1X’s robotics platforms.

    You Will

    • Develop and maintain security-critical cloud services in close collaboration with engineering teams

    • Implement infrastructure-as-code security practices for consistent and secure deployments

    • Design and manage identity and access systems that enforce just-in-time and least-privilege access

    • Protect CI/CD pipelines from poisoning and credential theft while enforcing artifact integrity

    • Build and operate cloud-native security services for device authentication, data protection, and secure communication

    • Architect secure cloud networks through VPC segmentation, traffic filtering, and access control

    • Configure and manage cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools to detect misconfigurations and support incident response across environments

    Job requirements

    Must Have

    • Experience coding and deploying services in production cloud environments

    • Strong expertise in securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

    • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code practices and tools

    • Hands-on experience with identity and access management systems and least-privilege enforcement

    • Proven ability to secure CI/CD pipelines and validate artifact integrity

    • Experience developing and operating cloud-native security services and controls

    • Deep understanding of secure cloud network architectures and connectivity (e.g., VPCs, PrivateLink, Direct Connect)

    • Familiarity with CSPM tools and incident response processes

    • Solid programming or scripting skills to automate security tooling

    • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards

    • Expertise in software development and code auditing

    • Salary Range: $175,000 – $187,500 + Equity
