We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance.
Role Overview
Design, prototype, and deliver the electromechanical systems that let our Neo move, grasp, and last. From junior to staff, own subsystems end-to-end: concept → detail design → test → iterate →volume production.
Job requirements
Design mechanical parts and electromechanical subsystems (frames, limbs, joints, power transmission systems, etc)
Perform structural FEA to reach optimum stiffness to weight ratio and achieve our fatigue life criteria
Select and integrate motors, sensors, PCBAs, cabling…
DFx: manufacturability, assembly, cost, serviceability
Build and break prototypes, iterate quickly
Must-Have
BS/MS Mechanical Engineering
CAD software fluency
Strong fundamentals of structural mechanics
Hands-on prototyping skills
Structural FEA and G&T experience
Extensive bearing selection experience
Nice-to-Have
Robotics or consumer hardware volume production
Ansys, injection molding, die casting, machining
