Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.

In this role, you will lead the production teams building some of the most advanced humanoid robots in the world. You will drive continuous improvements across quality, safety, and efficiency within our unique manufacturing processes. In time, your work will help scale production to thousands of robots in the field.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct production staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback
Ensure production goals are met by coordinating workflow to achieve daily targets and quality standards
Maintain quality control through effective implementation and monitoring of procedures to minimize defects
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and encouraging safe practices
Troubleshoot production, equipment, or personnel issues to maintain smooth manufacturing operations
Implement continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and driving change
Support training and development of new and existing team members to build capabilities
Communicate production status to management and report on key performance indicators
Job requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively motivate and guide teams
Experience in aerospace, automotive or advanced manufacturing, with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve production challenges
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Technical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes
