Job description
Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.
We strive for excellence in all we do, solving some of the hardest problems in robotics with the world’s most talented individuals. Every part of our robots is designed and produced in-house—from motor coils to AI—reflecting our vertically integrated approach.
Position Overview:
Do you want to shape the future of workplace productivity using cutting-edge AI tools, automation, and smart integrations?
We’re looking for a creative and curious Intern or Junior Software Engineer to join our IT, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure team — someone who thrives on solving real-world problems and making technology work harder for people.
In this role, you will be at the intersection of enterprise collaboration, automation engineering, and AI innovation. You’ll work directly with users across the organization to uncover inefficiencies, design intelligent solutions, and build integrations that streamline communication, accelerate operations, and unlock the full potential of our SaaS portfolio.
If you’re excited about modern AI tools like n8n, Activepieces, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), and you want to write code that makes a measurable impact, this is your opportunity to learn, build, and innovate in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with enterprise teams to map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design AI-powered solutions.
Develop custom integrations, bots, and APIs using Python and Go.
Connect and extend Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and other productivity platforms.
Create automation pipelines with tools like n8n, Activepieces, and MCP.
Implement full-stack applications that directly improve cross-team productivity.
Document solutions, train end-users, and iterate based on feedback.
Research emerging AI and automation technologies and evaluate them for enterprise use
