·      Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and long-term partnerships.

·      Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that sourced components meet technical specifications, design requirements, and quality standards.

·      Support the Head of Supply Chain in driving cost optimization initiatives while maintaining reliability and quality across the supply chain.

·      Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify new sourcing opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and pricing dynamics.

·      Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics, ensuring consistent delivery, quality, and adherence to contractual terms.

·      Implement risk mitigation strategies, including identifying alternative sources and managing supplier diversification.

·      Provide technical support for design-for-manufacturing (DFM) efforts, working closely with engineering teams to optimize product designs for sourcing feasibility and cost efficiency.

·      Manage supplier audits and evaluations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

·      Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, operations, and quality teams, to ensure smooth integration of sourced components into production.

·      Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of building long-term supplier relationships.

·      Experience managing supplier performance, conducting audits, and implementing improvement plans.
