Job description
Targeted start date: Immediately.
Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.
As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an ERP/MRP Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of NetSuite as our core enterprise platform. In this role, you will architect and operationalize our ERP and MRP capabilities to support everything from prototype builds to full-scale production of humanoid robots.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end architecture, configuration, and deployment of NetSuite, with a focus on modules supporting manufacturing (MRP), supply chain, finance, and inventory
Define and document core business processes in partnership with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, service, and finance teams
Build scalable, automation-first solutions that reduce manual work and improve traceability, cost tracking, and fulfillment
Implement and tune MRP settings (lead times, safety stock, order policies) to support just-in-time and make-to-stock manufacturing strategies
Lead integration efforts between NetSuite and other critical platforms (e.g., MES, PLM, CRM)
Establish dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to support operations, forecasting, and decision-making
Support change management, training, and onboarding of users across departments
Continuously improve system configuration and business processes based on evolving needs and growth
Job requirements
Proven experience implementing and scaling NetSuite in a hardware or manufacturing environment
Deep understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP), supply chain flows, and ERP best practices
Strong grasp of NetSuite modules: Manufacturing, Advanced Inventory, Work Orders, WIP/ROUTING, Procurement, and Financials
Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems (e.g., PLM, MES, EDI platforms)
Ability to gather requirements, translate into scalable solutions, and lead system implementations end-to-end
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bonus: experience with PLM systems, MES, or robotics-specific workflows
Location
We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office locations.
