    Role Overview

    As an Electrical Engineer - Hands, you will push the boundaries of what’s possible in robotics by helping to design a highly dexterous hand. You’ll design and integrate electrical systems that operate at the edge of performance, reliability, and manufacturability—ensuring that every component, layout, and system meets the demands of advanced humanoid robotics.

    Responsibilities

    • You will own of schematics, layout, prototyping, up to and including developing key testing and validation requirements with the manufacturing team

    • Design advanced PCB layouts for sensing, actuation, and compute modules in highly space-constrained under environmentally challenging conditions

    • Preference for prior experience with tactile sensing systems

    • Build real-time embedded systems using microcontrollers and high-speed digital interfaces

    • Debug, characterize, and optimize across thermal, EMI, and signal-integrity domains

    • Develop rapid prototypes, validation rigs, and custom tools to accelerate iteration

    • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and AI teams to bring robots to life

    Job requirements

    About You

    • Extensive experience in electrical system design for robotics or consumer electronicsDeep understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, and mixed-signal circuit designHands-on experience debugging and validating hardware (use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)

    • Experience designing under constraints (size, weight, power, thermal, etc.)

    • History of successfully moving from prototyping to production with high reliability

    • Comfort working fast‑paced environments with tight timelines and high technical complexity

    • Excellent communication and teamwork, especially across hardware, mechanical, and software domains

    • Minimum Bachelors EE degree, Masters preferred

    • Knowledge of Altium, Python, LTSpice
