About Us
As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are seeking a Electrical Engineer, Battery and Charger. This is a role for a highly skilled, hands-on engineer who thrives on rapid prototyping, high-performance board design, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in robotic dexterity. You will play a key role in designing, testing, and refining electrical systems for the most intricate and high-performance robotic hands ever built.
Key Responsibilities
Own the design of part of the battery or power distribution system, including component selection, schematic design and PCB layout.
Bring up custom PCBAs.
Develop and perform tests on hardware, to validate requirements and derisk design changes.
Design wiring harnesses and cables (connector selection, wire specification).
Job requirements
Must Haves
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong EE fundamentals.
2+ years of experience, with a track record of taking PCB designs from concept to product integration.
Experience with basic test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc).
Nice-to-HavesPower electronics design (DC-DC converters, inverters, etc).
Programming experience (embedded preferred, but anything is helpful).
Knowledge of system design considering functional safety.
