Job description
1X builds humanoid robots that work alongside people. Every demo—internal or external—must run perfectly on the first try.
Own planning and execution of all robot demos at our facilities and off-site. Coordinate robots, space, people, and timeline. Deliver zero-defect events.
Responsibilities
Build and run full demo schedules: booking, shipping, setup, rehearsal, execution, teardown
Sync R&D, Service, Ops, and Comms on deliverables and deadlines
Define and enforce robot readiness, space prep, and operator checklists
Manage robot allocation, charging, and backup units
Write and rehearse demo scripts with content owners
Identify risks early and escalate fast
Run same-day debriefs and ship fixes
Present status in leadership reviews
Job requirements
7+ yrs coordinating live events, VIP tours, product launches, or high-stakes demos (hospitality, conferences, trade shows, tech keynotes)
Tech-savvy: can read robot logs, spot issues, talk to engineers
Master of cross-team coordination and clear documentation
Expert with Notion, Sheets, Slack, run-of-show timelines
Calm under tight deadlines
Fully bought into the mission, extreme ownership mindset

Salary Range: $110,000 – $175,000 + equity
