Targeted start date: Immediately. Relocation provided.
Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.
We strive for excellence in all we do, solving some of the hardest problems in robotics with the world’s most talented individuals. Every part of our robots is designed and produced in-house—from motor coils to AI—reflecting our vertically integrated approach. At 1X, you’ll own real projects, be recognized for your achievements, and rewarded based on merit.
We’ve set up our second machine park, complementing our existing one in Moss, and we’re looking for a CNC Programmer & Operation Specialist to help us run it. In this hands-on role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to manage everything from programming to the final inspection of parts, ensuring high-quality output with minimal oversight. You’ll play a key role in shaping our prototyping and small-scale manufacturing capabilities, rapidly turning engineering concepts into reality.
What You'll Do
Program and operate DMG 5-axis mill or Mill/turn CNC machines using CAMWorks, Fusion or Siemens NX
Plan and execute entire processes, from design files to finished, measured parts.
Suggest design improvements for manufacturability.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Collaborate directly with engineering teams to meet daily or next-day turnaround times.
Why Join Us
Ownership & Autonomy: You manage the full manufacturing cycle, from programming to QC.
High Impact: Your expertise directly shapes how our humanoid robots are prototyped and manufactured.
Team Culture: Work with a close-knit group that values transparency, creativity, and results.
Modern Facilities: Our Sunnyvale office features 3D printers, electronics labs, and more to support fast innovation.
Relocation Support: We’ll assist you in moving to Sunnyvale, US.
