Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robot Assembly Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components of robotic systems according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
What You’ll Do
Assemble mechanical and electrical components of robotic systems using hand and power tools.
Follow detailed work instructions, assembly drawings, and schematics.
Install wiring, fasteners, motors, sensors, and other hardware.
Perform basic inspections to check part fit, alignment, and quality.
Handle and route cables, connectors, and small parts with care and precision.
Follow safety, cleanliness, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Communicate any issues, defects, or delays to supervisors or quality staff.
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
2+ years experience working in a fast paced assembly environment
Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, or basic assembly drawings.
Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment (e.g., screwdrivers, torque wrenches, calipers).
Comfortable working with small mechanical parts and performing repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical assembly processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on work for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
Willingness to follow safety protocols, including ESD handling procedures.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills for precision work.
Location
Our HQ is in Palo Alto, CA and manufacturing is expected to be in the Bay Area.
